CHARACTER NAME: Sarada Uchiha
CANON: Boruto
AU WORKSHOP LINK:n/a
AGE/AU AGE: 13 in canon, 15 AU
ALIAS: Mangekyo
OCCUPATION: Student
PERSONALITY: A polite girl, with a very active imagination, and easily to anger. She gets even more creative when angry.
She finds it hard to trust others, but is always willing to try. Smart, and caring, Sarada tries her best to not judge people for who they are, but for what they say and do.
She's talkative and studious, and willing to help out anyone that needs help.
She really cares for the people she loves, trying her best to make them happy, specially her mom.
Even though she has a strained relationship with her father, she still looks up to him and admires him, using whatever knowledge he taught her at the best of her abilities.
Sarada will always deny her feelings when confronted with them, no matter how much she's done for someone.
She tends to overthink things, and tries to analyze everything from every angle possible, sometimes making her slow to react to situations.
She's also really stubborn, and doesn't like asking for help, but is willing to accept it if offered nonetheless.
HISTORY: Sarada, growing up, was very annoyed with her father, because he was never home due to his vigilantism, and just being her and her mom, she tried to ignore her father and focus more on her future hero career. Her parents are friends with who she thinks is the best hero from her city, someone that always reminds her of All Might, Naruto. It's to the point that she wishes to be like Naruto when she grows up, something she's very vocal about. It's thanks to him that she picked a school so far away from home, just to become the best hero ever.
QUIRK: Sarada has two quirks: Eye prowess, and super strength, both hereditary.
Eye prowess: Her eyes turn red when she activates her power, and depending on the stage she uses, a black speck shows up on the red irises. This power has three stages: the first one is the blinding stage. In this one whoever looks her in the eyes will become blind from anywhere between twenty seconds to a minute, depending on the eyesight of the person (The worst the eyesight, the more the power works). The second stage is the paralysis stage. In this one whoever she looks at is paralyzed for thirty seconds. The third stage is the most difficult to handle, the illusion stage. In this one, whoever locks eyes with Sarada ends up hallucinating with something of her own creation. For this stage to work the victim has to be staring at Sarada the whole time, and no matter what, it won't work for longer than a minute. The intensity of the illusions depends on the person's eyesight, just like the first stage.
The biggest weakness to this quirk is that there's a cool down time. Every time she uses one of her stages she has to wait a thirty seconds before she can use it again, or a whole minute if she wants to use a different stage. For the illusion stage the cool down is of two minutes, no matter if it works for the whole minute or not (meaning the victim stopped looking at her)
Another problem with having her quirk is that she has really bad eyesight. Astigmatism and near sightless are the villains of her story. She needs to wear glasses at every waking moment in order to see, and because of her quirk she can't wear contacts. Her eyes also dry out really quickly when she uses her quirk too much, and so she carries around a little bottle of eye drops everywhere she goes.
Her other quirk is super strength. Which, in reality, is just a slightly more strong than the average person quirk. The more she trains, the stronger she'll get, but not being a fan of having a super muscled body, she's just slightly stronger than her peers, able to carry and lift heavy things, break a few bones while punching, and able to kick people away from her. The problem with using excessive force though is that she ends up sore and with cramps all over whichever muscle she used. She seriously needs more physical training.
COSTUME: tadah with sunglasses instead because it's harder to see where she's looking at!
SAMPLE:
[Sarada is holding onto her backpack and suitcase, staring at the dorms' door. She takes a deep breath, still staring, and clutches the strap to her backpack.]
This is it, Sarada, you've done it. Now take that first step, girl!
[She takes another breath, and pulls on her suitcase, the little wheels squeaking against the cement. It's a bit difficult to do when the thing is so heavy, but she was able to walk up to the dorms all by herself, so of course she's going to get to her room by herself.
Se take a step, and then another, and soon she's at the door, letting go of her backpack strap and opening it. She's holding her breath as she walks through the door, and lets out a gasp as soon as she enters. The place is a lot more fancy than she imagined, and even the pamphlet doesn't make it justice.]
So big...
[Sarada looks around, sticking her hand in her pocket to take out the piece of paper with the room information on it. She unfolds it, and looks at the map attached, finding the stair case nearby. She looks around the areas she can see, seeing people in what she thinks is the common room, blushing slightly when one turns to look at her. She makes her way to the stairs and stares at them.]
I have to carry this suitcase through stairs?
[She looks at the map again, then at the suitcase, then at the map again, and sighs.]
I'm so glad there's only five floors.
[And up the stairs she goes!]
